April 2024 “Not Your Granny’s Garden Club”

On April 19, 2024, The Laguna Beach Independent featured the Laguna Beach Garden Club in their Non-Profit Spotlight section in an article entitled “Not your Granny’s Garden Club” which highlighted many of the exciting things that our growing club is doing.

April 2025 “Ladies of Laguna” featured for the Gate & Garden Tour

On April 4, 2024, StuNews (Volume 17, Issue 27) published an article features our “Ladies of Laguna.” Each year our Gate & Garden Tour director chooses several women who embody the spirit of service that the club represents and honors them with this title. This year’s “Ladies of Laguna” are Laura Ford, founder of the Pollinator Protection Fund, Simone Adams, co-manager of the Friends of the Library Butterfly Fairy Garden,, Amy Amirani, LBCWD Commissioner, and Ally Cook, milliner/owner of Lucky Cowboy and the committee chair for the tour’s annual Garden Hat Contest.

March 2024 Gate & Garden Tour in LA Times

March 2024 “Good of the Hive” Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On March 15, 2024, StuNews (Volume 16, Issue 22) published an article on the bee mural ribbon cutting ceremony. The partnership between the Laguna Beach Garden Club (LBGC) and the Laguna Beach County Water District (LBCWD) was on full display at the ribbon cutting for the new mural titled “The Good of the Hive” by Matt Willey.
