DESCRIPTION:Robin Stockwell\, the guest speaker at our meeting on Nov. 8th\, has been growing succulents professionally since 1973\, and he will treat us to Robin’s History of Succulents.  He has been called the King of Succulents and deeply understands and appreciates their superior functionality and beauty. Working with professionals and the general public\, he has dedicated his life to encouraging the use of succulents. \nRobin\, alone and with others\, revolutionized vertical gardening with succulents\, creating mural systems for small installations and mounting huge exhibitions for the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show. His Succulent Globe\, the centerpiece of the 2012 Show\, took more than a year to complete and included 30\,000 plants. He has been a frequent presenter as well at the Sunset Celebration and Northwest Flower & Garden Show and has authored many succulents’ books. \nQuestions?
